The site finally has a new look. The design will continue to evolve as time goes on and I get better with using Textpattern. In fact, I should talk about that. I’ve been hearing about Textpattern for a while now and it is often described as a very capable and easy to use CMS. As I have finally tried it out with this blog, I have to say that I completely agree. Its greatest feature though, above all else, is that it is completely free. The community may not be as large as some of the other more popular CMS’s out there but there is certainly a dedicated base that swear by it. Not that surprising considering that it gives you full control over the HTML and stylesheets for free when others charge you. After I gain a further understanding of the way Textpattern structures things I’ll go into a little more detail on why I like it so much.
Overall, a good week. The site is finally customized a bit so I can start adding some real content. Stay tuned.
